Résumé :
ENGLISH :
Aims : To investigate current co-morbid disorders in adolescent and young-adult cannabis users seeking treatment with polydrug users as controls. Methods : Patient records of 208 cannabis (74 % dependent) and 150 polydrug users (81 % dependent) who had been treated as outpatients in 2003 were analysed. Results : Cannabis and polydrug users did not differ significantly in age of onset, co-morbid disorders (predominantly affective, personality, and developmental disorders), or in the extent or outcome of treatment. Conclusions : In view of their co-morbid disorders, adolescent drug users seeking treatment should be provided with integrated treatment as the standard. (Review's abstract.)
